Some patients seek to move away from pharmaceuticals and Western medications because they are wary of the side effects. They also prefer a more natural alternative and gentle approach to bring them back to optimum health. I have treated other patients who come to my office using acupuncture as an adjunct to their Western treatments.

But does it work?

Yes acupuncture works!  It is one of the oldest most commonly used medical procedures in the world.  It’s history dates back to 5000 B.C. and even the World Health Organization (WHO) has found that acupuncture can provide relief and resolution to hundreds of health problems.

It is gentle, relaxing and provides a more natural and holistic approach to diagnosing and treating health issues.  Its methods encourage the body to promote natural healing and improve the overall body’s functioning.

Acupuncture can and does help many kinds of illnesses – it is most noted for its treatment of pain and orthopedic type problems – back, neck, knee, elbow, etc. We have tremendous results with migraines and allergies!

And I particularly  enjoy helping women and their families who are “waiting” for their baby who hasn’t yet shown up.

It is important to choose a practitioner who will spend time with you helping you understand your condition and who will explain how acupuncture can help you. I treat men, women and children of all ages – with a variety of approaches and techniques that are best suited for their health problems.
